Cawnpore Country© Vivienne Ledlie The Cawnpore Hills majestically survey Long have these hills seen cyclic weather shifts: Mirages mocked and beckoned those who dared From drought to flood recurrent patterns spanned Soon mitchell grass and wildflowers waved salute These Hills have witnessed changing transport modes: When mobs of cattle passed by Cawnpore Hills Today the heavy transports pass this way, No more the tracks through sandhills' shifting scene, Back To Top Of Page |
